SHOAL BAY WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY, CONTAINMENT CELL CAPPING
This large technically challenging project involved the installation of 90,000m2 Geosynthetics Liners and reinforcing to cap a full landfill cell to repurpose the land for future development.
BOULTER ROAD, STORMWATER UPGRADE
Installation of the new 1.078km Stormwater system to support two new residential estates on Boulter Road, Berrimah.
PARKSIDE SUBDIVISION, BERRIMAH
This project was the completion of a 58 residential Lot subdivision in Berrimah. Works included Earthworks, Services, Roading, Community Facilities and Landscaping.
LITTLE MINDIL FOOTPATH EROSION REMEDIATION
The new footpath, grassing and bench seats increases the beauty of the Little Mindil Beach and attracts people to enjoy the surroundings. This project reconnects the Nurses Walk from Cullen Bay to Mindil Beach thus facilitating the public with a safe and pleasant seaside walk with beautiful views.
CHARLES DARWIN UNIVERSITY, CITY CAMPUS BASEMENT
In preparation of the new Charles Darwin University campus in the Darwin CBD, DTA Contractors were engagaed for the bulk excavation of a new 2-level Car Park. This including retaining wall as detailed in the design documents and removal of all excavated materials.
KATHERINE EAST WATER MAIN EXTENSION
For the future Katherine East Neighborhood Centre, 350mt of water main was extended along the Stuart Highway as per the requirement. The existed temporary dead end was removed, and new pressure main was constructed and tested for water supply.
MYILLY POINT PLAYGROUND PRECINCT
Completed in 2021, the Playground Precinct is part of the Government's commitment to creating an active space at Myilly Point for Top End families.
SHOAL BAY WEIGHBRIDGE UPGRADE
The Shoal Bay Weighbridge Upgrade was handed over to the City Of Darwin at the end of 2020. This is a important facility that is utilised by all of the greater NT Community
STATE SQUARE UNDERGROUND CAR PARK
Completed in 2020 the car park facilates 24/7 car parking for public, Parliament House and Supreme Court. The car park has revitilised the city and developed a cooler and more public-friendly attraction.
LAKESIDE DRIVE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION
The road is accessed by a range of the public including: emergency services, residents/commuters, university students/lecturers, public transport.
SHOAL BAY WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY, CONTAINMENT CELL
This project was the next stage of the Darwin City Council's plan to expand the existing waste management, recycling and renewable energy facility.
WADEYE SUBDIVISION
Upon completion of the civil works, this would allow DIPL to continue with the planning and construction of the new housing project in the 16 Lots prepared for by the subdivision.
DARWIN RIVER DAM RENEWAL
The water catchment it contains is the major source of water for the city of Darwin. The water in this dam is considered to be one of the most pristine on Earth. In order to preserve this quality, the catchment and reservoir policy prohibits recreational use with substantial penalties imposed for trespassing.
RAAF CONTAINMENT CELL AND STOCKPILE
After redevelopment works at the defence base Darwin there was requirement to dispose of approximately 65,000m2 of soil with Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). Defence elected to manage ACM material through onsite encapsulation in a purpose-built containment cell.
ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE, DARWIN HIGH SCHOOL
The contract works awarded to DTA comprise of the construction of a new indoor substation and switch room and all associated demolition works, civils works and electrical works including low voltage reticulation to the existing main switchboard, supply and installation of a new site main switchboard, supply changeover and decommissioning of the existing indoor substation.
NIGHTCLIFF SEAWALL & STORMWATER OUTLETS
DTA delivered these technically challenging works in this busy local hub with minimal disruption to the public and adjacent businesses, with no community complaints received in relation to our works.
DUNDEE BOAT RAMP RECONSTRUCTION
In December 2016, the new Dundee Beach Boat Ramp was completed on time & on budget and handed over to The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics.
BREEZES PARK, MUIRHEAD
The park was delivered within the original contract timeframe and was officially opened by the Lord Mayor on 22/08/2017.
